Jonathan Batiste brings late night jazz to RAC
Last Tuesday, Recession Art welcomed Jonathan Batiste for the first of three late night jam sessions at RAC. Check out our photo gallery of the event and video on youtube, and come down to Clinton Street on Tuesday to get in on the action.
For his work as co-director and music curator at The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, Batiste was featured alongside Recession Art’s Emma Katz and Risa Shoup as part of ARTINFO’s 30 Under 30 The Art World’s Most Influential Young Figures.
On Tuesday August 7, 14, and 21, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem will be presenting Batiste’s Spontaneous Combustion series at Rockwood Music Hall, followed by a late night jam session at RAC.
